How We Got Here
At Emma's Pilates and Well-being, we offer a range of Pilates, Yoga stretch and Yogalates, Barre and Ballet sessions for all. We are now also offering Pilates reformer sessions.
A relaxing way to exercise the body and mind.
We encourage everyone to practice Pilates and yoga or Barre. A wonderful controlled form of exercise with so many benefits.
We help clients understand the fundamental techniques practiced when performing Pilates and Yoga, so you gain the most from your practice.
Qualified in Mat Pilates to Advanced level. Specialist Yoga qualified, Yoga Movement, Pre and Post-natal, Children's yoga, Performance Pilates, Fusion Pilates trained, My Barre and Balletbums qualified, level 3 Diploma in Dance, Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Health.

Our classes are suitable for anyone, and assists in the prevention of injury. They offer relief from back issues and discomfort, and can increase sporting ability and flexibility.
We believe our classes encourage a positive mind, helping us all improve our overall health and well-being.

I have been going to Emma's Pilates and Yogalates classes for 6 years now and I would highly recommend her service. She accommodates to each individual needs and takes into account your strengths and weaker areas which makes the experience more enjoyable.
As a complete novice in Pilates, I was quite anxious about joining a class but I needn't have worried. Emma's teaching allows you to develop at your own pace and the small group class means that you get one-to-one help when needed. It's also a very friendly atmosphere and there is no competitive element at all. I really enjoy the weekly class and would recommend Emma as a teacher, whatever your level of experience.
I can highly recommend, I do Yoga at the studio with Sally and both are lovely teachers, very knowledgeable. Lovely relaxing studio with comfortable mats and a friendly atmosphere.
Emma is a very kind and caring person and this is reflected in her Pilates classes. The classes are extremely beneficial and even if, like me, you suffer with back and knee pain, I would highly recommend giving it a try, It is a safe way of gaining and maintaining flexibility, they certainly make a difference.
Emma's Pilates classes have really helped me feel good again. We enjoy a great stretch and improve our core as we go. My posture has improved and so has my back. Shes a lovely person and makes sure everyone in the class is performing the exercises correctly.

Enjoy taking part in yoga, pilates, yogalates, barre and ballet in your own time from home. Free 1 to 1 online starter session included so we get to meet you and explain our techniques.

We are very lucky to offer Well-being sessions at the beautiful Normanby Hall Country Park during the summer.
The perfect way to stretch and unwind in the perfect park surroundings.
All summer sessions for 2024 will be held in August.

If you are not a member you can still attend by booking a pay as you go session.
