Sound bath evening by Peter Ison (7pm start)
Sound Baths can have so many benefits! The most commonly reported
include: Improved sleep quality, Lower blood pressure, Increased energy
levels, reduced stress and anxiety, reduced depression, greater feelings
of calmness and improved overall well-being.
From 7pm to 9pm, a lovely relaxing 2 hours will comprise: sound bath, a
crystal to take home with you, a hot drink and a good chat!
Price is £25.50 per person. To book simply purchase our Soundbath package.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath completely immerses, or ‘bathes’ you in sound.
My sound baths usually last for around an hour. Participants bring with
them, and lay on, a yoga mat or padded mat, or if they struggle to get
down low enough, they can sit in a reclining chair for the duration of
the sound bath. After settling in with a guided, grounding relaxation, I
then play the wonderful instruments in a way that encourages the
conscious mind to let go and the unconscious mind to take over, which is
where the deep relaxation occurs and our parasympathetic nervous system
is activated, which is responsible for boosting our immune system and
natural self-healing ability.
Each person’s experience of a sound bath will be unique and different,
and people are often presented with the experience that they need in
that moment. Some people fall asleep, some see colour, some experience
visions, others have physical sensations.
Following a sound bath people often report increased feelings of
wellbeing, contentment and balance, improved sleep quality, reduction in
feelings of stress and anxiety alongside numerous other physical
benefits.
What to bring:
Please make sure you wear warm socks, comfortable clothes and bring with
you a yoga mat or padded mat, a pillow, an eye mask if you need one, and
at least one blanket.
If you are not comfortable lying down you may bring a reclining deck
chair or similar to be seated on instead. Please let me know upon
booking so I can plan the room layout.
Are sound baths suitable for everyone?
No! There are some exclusions.... sound baths are not suitable in the
following circumstances:
Pregnancy (1st 12 weeks)
Deep vein thrombosis
Sensitivity to sound/conditions triggered by sound - some cases of
Epilepsy (again speak to me to check)
Pacemaker/defibrillator/stent/shunt (instruments not to be placed on or
too near to the affected area)
Any metallic implant (instruments not to be placed on or too near to the
affected area).
If you have a medical condition or concerns and are unsure if a sound
bath is suitable for you, please contact me directly on 07500137365 or
